Recyclables & Art Shows & ART…oh my! Where to SEE our Art Adventure’s Art

A very exciting Art Adventure this past weekend with a visit to Brooklyn, an art + fashion show AND an inside look into the art making process with Pratt’s MFA open studios.

We are SO proud of our very own Art Adventurer + our Art Adventurer Mom- Sawyer & Deborah! This past Saturday, family & friends joined us @ COPE NYC Art Expo to see… 

An Inclusive World ART Project : Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and the 4th R -Reimagine

Sawyer’s artwork was on display right next to other students, teachers, professional Artists, MFA Pratt students + Designers artwork!

We brought the whole family to share in this HUGE accomplishment. A special thank you to COPE NYC for coordinating this event + of course Sawyer for participating AND his family for the support!

COPE NYC brought together NYC Public School students + Teachers + MFA students AND the Gallery/Museum community for an all inclusive Art show-

  • Celebrating the beauty of creating ART from all walks of life using recyclable materials.
  • Artists in Residence work with an Open Studios weekend
  • High Fashion Show coordinated by the students of High school Fashion Industries

Our Art Adventurers exhibiting artwork was created during our Saturday Child-Parent Workshop , which was held last month creating Rauschenberg Combines!

Check out Sawyer’s work & the rest @ the Acumen Capital Partners Building (630 Flushing Ave, Brooklyn) on display till December 2018.

Also be sure to stop by Oren’s Coffee Shop on Lexington Ave. (between E79th + E80th St in the UES) to see CCA’s ongoing Student’s Art Show currently on display!
